We first heard about Chantilly on the internet while listening Merseyside Radio so made it a point to visit Pam & Les on our next trip to Liverpool from Canada. We weren't disappointed - Les' pastries are to die for.Chantilly is now a must stop for us when we visit Liverpool each year. |

I have been a regular visitor to Chantilly since it first opened.The food is exceptional, particullarly the cakes and puddings. My husband always has a freshly baked scone with cream and jam, whereas I love the walnut and apple bakewell with cream! The food really tastes as good as it looks.I love the fact that they automatically top up the teapot with more water. Les does the fabulous cooking and Pam with the help of their daughter and colleagues keeps it all coming to the table. There is always a friendly buzzing atmosphere. Often over time the food/service in a tearoom/restaurant slips, but I'm delighted that Chantilly contiues to provide such lovely food and service with a smile. |

A wonderful tea room thats becoming less and less of a secret (probably because of all the great reviews they're getting)The cakes, pastries, bread and pies are all freshly home made and expertly done The place is always very clean and well run, with polite and friendly owners and staff |

I was taken to the Chantilly Rooms by my two neighbours for a birthday lunch and I just want to place on record my absolute delight in the quality of service and the outstanding quality of the food.Everything is handmade on the premises and is served with honest to goodness friendliness. I would recommend Chantilly to anyone who is looking for perfection in food quality and service. |

Les and Pam serve the best full English for miles, freshly cooked to order.The afternoon tea is very special too and is all freshly home-made. All the food is fresh and home-made, they even make their own bread! Highly recommended. |

Couldn't fault this excellent tea room, Pam and Les are attentive hosts and the food is excellent, love the range of pastries! And they do takeouts, bliss!

The service was excellent, however you couldn't comfortably have a conversation because of the clattering and noise coming from behind the counter. The food looked very nice, I ordered the chicken and ham pie but was disappointed. However I think this was just my choice as my mother had the pumpkin soup and said that it was delicious. Furthermore, nothing can take away from their amazing range of home made cakes and pastries. They were absolutely delicious. I would happily return for a drink and a cake. |

At last a proper tea rooms and coffee shop. Lovely food, good service. All in all excellent value for money and they did speciality teas and decaffinated tea and coffee. Will definitely go there again and again. |
